MINNESOTA WILD HOLDS THE LINE ON SEASON TICKET PRICING;
LAUNCHES ONLINE SEASON TICKET RENEWAL
SAINT PAUL/MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. – The National Hockey League's (NHL) Minnesota Wild today announced that all season ticket prices for the 2012-13 campaign will remain frozen for the third consecutive season. Season ticket holders will pay the same price per game for their seats next season as they have for the last two seasons.
The team also announced season ticket pricing for the 2012 Stanley Cup Playoffs. Season ticket holders will pay their regular season ticket price for their seats in the first round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs.
"Our season ticket holders are our lifeblood; the majority have been with us from the beginning of the franchise 12 years ago," said John Rizzardini, Wild Senior VP of Ticket Sales & Service. "We're excited to watch our team compete for a playoff berth down the stretch, and this offer is a 'thank you' to season ticket holders for their support all season."
Today, season ticket holders will begin receiving renewal notices for the 2012-2013 NHL season, including a link to a website where they can complete their entire transaction online. Those that renew their 2012-13 tickets by the renewal deadline of Friday, March 23 at 11:59 p.m. will be eligible for the "Pay as we Play" Program for post-season tickets, which initiates charges only for confirmed home playoff games, and will receive "Wild Bucks" food and beverage gift cards ranging in value from $25 to $150 per seat on their account, based on the payment plan selected. The Wild Rewards Program will also continue next season for season ticket holders.
Renewal information will be emailed and mailed to season ticket holders starting today and can also be found by clicking on the My Wild Account link in the Tickets section of www.wild.com. The 2012-13 season will feature 44 home contests (three preseason and 41 regular season).
