Wild winger Zach Parise practicing, possibly returning vs. Flames.

As the Wild showed last week with Erik Haula, one practice might be enough for Parise to return to game action Tuesday against the Calgary Flames.

Zach Parise, who hasn't played since Oct. 27 but has only missed six games due to a foot injury because of the Wild's light schedule lately, is practicing this morning with the Wild.

As the Wild showed last week with Erik Haula, one practice may be enough for him to return to game action Tuesday against the Calgary Flames. The Wild opens a three-game homestand.

Parise has been skating hard back in the Twin Cities with Wild skating and skills instructor Andy Ness.

The Wild reassigned Christoph Bertschy this morning (kept Zack Mitchell, which means he has shown something to impress the coaching staff), so either Parise is returning, Joel Eriksson Ek will play his 10th game or the Wild plans to recall another forward.

Hopefully we'll have more clarity on Parise after practice, but his return is the likeliest scenario.

Lines today:

Niederreiter-Staal-Coyle

Granlund-Koivu-Zucker

Parise-Haula-Pominville

Eriksson Ek-Graovac-Mitchell-Stewart

GM Chuck Fletcher is in Toronto for the Hall of Fame inductions. Pat Quinn was one of his dad Cliff Fletcher's captains. Also, the GM's meetings are there.

Eriksson Ek remains for now.

I'll be back.
