Authorities on Sunday identified the woman who was shot outside a north Minneapolis strip mall during the middle of the day.

Iesha L. Wiley, 26, of Minneapolis, was shot in the chest Friday afternoon while in the parking lot on West Broadway near Lyndale Avenue N., according to the Hennepin County medical examiner's office.

Police have yet to announce an arrest in the homicide, the city's 10th this year and the second in two days in north Minneapolis.

The gunman and the woman knew each other, police said, but authorities have not elaborated on that point other than to say the shooting followed a disturbance in a business.

Among the retail outlets in the strip mall are Walgreens, Subway and Family Dollar.
