Zach Parise skates hard, testing injury; Alex Stalock to start in goal Thursday

Zach Parise had a high-speed skating and shooting session before today's Wild practice that lasted at least 30 minutes, and he appeared to be moving well.

Zach Parise had a high-speed skating and shooting session before today's Wild practice that lasted at least 30 minutes, and he appeared to be moving well. He reportedly tweaked his back before training camp and has yet to take part in one of the team's official practices.

Coach Bruce Boudreau has said Parise is day-to-day.

Boudreau said South St. Paul native Alex Stalock will start in goal Thursday for the team's first home preseason game against Winnipeg. The team sent out this projected lineup:
