As expected, the Vikings' official injury report listed free safety Harrison Smith as having limited participation in his first on-field action since suffering an ankle injury in the Dec. 1 loss to the Cowboys.
Zimmer on Smith: 'He moved pretty good'
"He moved pretty good," coach Mike Zimmer said after practice.
Smith is a smart fella, so he wasn't going to announce his injury status before Zimmer does so.
"I'm still not sure [I'll play]," Smith said. "We'll see what the coaches think and leave it up to them."
Based on how he was moving and the fact Saturday is a must-win game (an actual win-or-your-playoff-hopes-are-mathematically-kaput game), look for Smith to play.
Meanwhile, Adrian Peterson (groin), Brandon Fusco (concussion) and Laquon Treadwell (ankle) were listed as not practicing. Treadwell had a helmet on and was at practice during the portion open to the media.
Also listed as limited participation today after no participation on Wednesday was Stefon Diggs (hip). Zach Line (concussion) was limited again.
Listed with full participation after being limited on Wednesday were Trae Waynes (concussion) and Mackensie Alexander (abdomen). Listed with full participation again were Charles Johnson (knee), Jeremiah Sirles (ankle) and Marcus Sherels (rib).
Mike Conley was in Minneapolis, where he sounded the Gjallarhorn at the Vikings game, on Sunday during the robbery.
