CLONTARF, MINN. - Two men were flown to a Twin Cities hospital Friday after being burned by anhydrous ammonia in Clontarf.

Swift County Sheriff Scott Mattison says 41-year-old Leon Beam of rural Benson and 62-year-old Thomas Lindstrom of rural Clontarf were exposed to the ammonia when an applicator hose ruptured at Johnson Fertilizer in the western Minnesota town.

Mattison says the men were severely burned and are being treated at Regions Hospital in St. Paul.
