A couple from Milaca, Minn., died Saturday afternoon in a three-vehicle wreck in Chisago County after the motorcycle they were on crossed the Hwy. 95 centerline, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.

The crash occurred just before 3 p.m. at Milepost 57 of the highway when an eastbound Harley-Davidson driven by 35-year-old Collin Orth of Milaca crossed the highway and collided head-on with a westbound minivan and then struck a westbound SUV.

Orth died at the scene. His passenger and wife, Sara Orth, 34, died after being transported to North Memorial Medical Center in Robbinsdale.

Neither was wearing a helmet, the State Patrol said. It was unknown whether alcohol played a factor in the crash, the patrol said.

The driver of the minivan and four passengers, including three children, suffered injuries that the patrol described as non-life-threatening. Two teens in the SUV were not injured.
