Two young children were found uninjured inside a Coon Rapids home where three people were shot to death Friday afternoon, officials said.

A suspect was in custody, but an official did not offer a preliminary motive for the killings.
The children were in the home at the time of the incident, according to a statement from Tierney Peters, a spokeswoman for the Anoka County Sheriff’s Office.
Peters said the victims were two males and one female, but she did not say whether they were adults or children.

“This incident is being investigated as a homicide and is still in the early stages,” Peters said.
The killings occurred at a house in the 200 block of 94th Avenue NW., according to the Anoka County Sheriff’s Office.
An open-line call to 911 from the home came about 12:25 p.m. Friday and included “sounds of a disturbance in the background,” according to Peters’ statement.
Officers went to the residence and found the three victims dead inside, she said.
The governor said it may be 2027 or 2028 by the time the market catches up to demand.
