6:15 a.m. update: Part of Hwy. 61 closed for water main repair

The Minnesota Department of Transportation has closed the right lane of southbound Hwy. 61 between Frost Avenue and Larpenteur Avenue.

The Minnesota Department of Transportation has closed the right lane of southbound Hwy. 61 between Frost Avenue and Larpenteur Avenue.

The closure necessary to allow city of Maplewood crews to repair a broken water main that runs below the highway, will be in effect through Feb. 4.
