60-year-old woman dies in Bloomington townhouse fire

A fire in a Bloomington townhouse has left a woman dead, authorities said on Tuesday. The blaze started about 10:45 p.m. Monday at the Georgetown Park Townhomes in the 8100 block of Bloomington Avenue S., and was quickly put out, fire officials said. The name of the 60-year-old victim has yet to be released. Cause of the fire, which started in the basement, has yet to be determined.
