The newest issue on the metro is on southbound 35E where there is a crash at Maryland Avenue on the right shoulder. Drivers can plan on 15 minutes from 694 to downtown St. Paul.
The crash is gone on southbound 35W at Park Avenue, but in its wake there is a solid line of traffic from Industrial Blvd. to downtown Minneapolis. That is still 20 minutes.
Traffic bunches up on northbound 35E in the work zone from County Road 42 up to Cedar Avenue. The same is occuring on westbound 94 from McKnight Road over to 35E in St. Paul.
Things, as usual, heavy on 494 westbound from Hwy. 5 to Hwy. 100. That is 15 minutes.
The Crosstown in both directions is sluggish from Tracy Avenue over to Hwy. 100. That is 10 minutes.
The governor said it may be 2027 or 2028 by the time the market catches up to demand.
