8 a.m. update: Crowded on 35W in downtown Minneapolis

Commuters will experience a short delay on southbound 35W from Hennepin Avenue to Chicago Avenue.

Commuters will experience a short delay on southbound 35W from Hennepin Avenue to Chicago Avenue.

On 494 in Bloomington, it's 20 minutes in either direction between Hwy. 169 and Cedar Avenue.

Look for a tanker on the right shoulder on southbound 35W just south of the Forest Lake split. It's 25 minutes to downtown Minneapolis with the slowest traffic between Lake Drive and 694.

A fender bender is on the ramp from County Road 42 to northbound 35E in Burnsville.
