9 a.m. update: Snow removal on Hwy. 7

A few midday lane closures are on tap today.

February 28, 2013 at 11:40AM

We end the rush hour with no accidents on the system and traffic moving well. The exception is eastbound 394, which is still tight from Xenia Avenue to Dunwoody Blvd.

Look for right land closures on Hwy. 7 in both directions between Hwy. 41 and Hwy. 169. The work begins at 9 a.m. and runs until 2 p.m.

The right lane of northbound 494 will be closed at 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. to allow MnDOT crews to work on an overhead sign.

Hwy. 5 will be reduced to a single lane in both directions from Jamaica Avenue to Hwy. 36 through Lake Elmo for maintenance work from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
