Born and raised in Minnesota, Aurora Weirens is a rising senior at Cornell University studying political science and business. Prior to this summer, Weirens has contributed to the College Contemporay and Business Insider. Next fall, she will continue to write in her opinion column "The Northern Light," her advice column, and everything in between for the Cornell Daily Sun. On the many snowy days in Minnesota and Ithaca, Weirens enjoys Nordic skiing and playing the marimba.
