South MetroAn Anoka native, Adler lives in south Minneapolis with her two dogs. She graduated from the College of St. Benedict with an English and secondary education degree (and a concentration in studio art). She taught seventh grade English and religion at a Catholic school in Edina for two years and later taught adult ESL/ELL for Minneapolis Public Schools. She has a Master's degree in English/Literacy education from the University of Minnesota. In her free time, she enjoys reading, drawing and attempting to complete home improvement projects.
