A new thrust of hot air into the northern Plains will trigger strong, gustythunderstorms early in the week.Thunderstorms threatening damaging winds and large hail will erupt following aday of heating over much of the western Dakotas into easternmost Montana andWyoming.
Most of the storms will erupt after sunset; some of them late at night.
Strong storms will shift eastward over the northern Plains on Tuesday.
