For 25 years, no Capitol journalist has done more than Eric Eskola of WCCO radio to keep Minnesotans aware and abreast of state government's impact on their lives. By helping keep Minnesota citizens informed, he's made this a better state. My hat's off to him as he announces that he'll soon leave WCCO.
Calls for de-escalation and toning down the rhetoric in recent days is exactly what was needed, even if it might have felt like capitulation.
