A-tisket a-tasket, make your own basket

Stop by Bachman's stores to make a complimentary May Day basket while supplies last.

• 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., Saturday and Sunday.

• Bachman's on Lyndale, Apple Valley, Eden Prairie, Fridley, Lakeville/Farmington, Maplewood and Plymouth.

• Flowers sold separately; a percentage of the proceeds will benefit Children's Home Society & Family Services.

1. Roll a piece of card stock or construction paper into a cone shape, then glue.

2. Embellish with drawings, stickers, glitter, etc.

3. Use a pipe cleaner or ribbon to create a handle.

4. Insert a liner for flowers.

5. Drop flowers or candy inside and deliver to friends and neighbors with a special note.
