"American Idol" isn't returning to the Twin Cities this summer - but it's coming darn close. Audtions will be held July 21 at Bradley Center in Milwaukee. More good news for aspiring singers: The eligibility range is now including 15 year olds (previously the minimum age was 16). I'm not so sure that's a good thing; 15-year-olds have enough to worry about, although the absence of Simon Cowell should make their auditions a little less of a nightmare.

FILE -- A rent deposit slot at an apartment complex in Tucker, Ga., on July 21, 2020. As an eviction crisis has seemed increasingly likely this summer, everyone in the housing market has made the same plea to Washington: Send money — lots of it — that would keep renters in their homes and landlords afloat.
