Argument, then a fatal shooting in north Minneapolis

November 7, 2017 at 1:58AM

A man was shot and killed Monday evening in north Minneapolis, police said.

A police spokesman said the shooting apparently arose from an argument between the victim and the suspect just after 6 p.m. near Lyndale and 47th avenues N.

The victim died at the scene. No arrests have been made. The Hennepin County medical examiner's office will release the man's name and exact cause of death.

Homicide investigators were at the scene Monday night; anyone with information is asked to call 612-692-8477 or text an anonymous tip to 847411.
