Around the NFC North after free agency
Checking in with the Vikings' division opponents after the first wave of free agency:
BEARS
What they accomplished: Upgraded an abysmal receiving corps by adding Allen Robinson, Taylor Gabriel and pass-catching tight end Trey Burton.
Still left to do: Find more pass rushers and depth along the offensive line.
LIONS
What they accomplished: In Devon Kennard, they acquired a versatile edge-rushing linebacker who will help new coach Matt Patricia when he chooses to mix in 3-4 looks.
Still left to do: Find some experience to upgrade a tight end position that has no player with more than four NFL catches.
PACKERS
What they accomplished: Added Jimmy Graham to a barren tight end position and took a one-year gamble that Muhammad Wilkerson will recapture his pass-rushing prowess.
Still left to do: Find multiple cornerbacks to strengthen the weakest spot on the roster.
MARK CRAIG
Mike Conley was in Minneapolis, where he sounded the Gjallarhorn at the Vikings game, on Sunday during the robbery.
