An early morning fire that damaged a garage and three vehicles in St. Cloud, Minn. is believed to be the work of an arsonist, police said.

Sgt. Jerry Edblad of the St. Cloud Police Department estimated that the damage to the vehicles and the garage was in excess of $70,000.

Fire crews were called to the fire in the 300 block of 2nd Avenue N.E. at around 1:10 a.m. today. Three vehicles -- including a 1964 Ford Falcon, a pickup truck and another car -- in the unattached garage were damaged. There was no damage to the nearby house, police said.

The case is under investigation, but police said they believe that the fire was started intentionally.

No suspects have been arrested.

Anybody with information is asked to call the St. Cloud Police Department at 1-320-255-1301.
