Art Garfunkel has done it again. He's called off a tour because of vocal problems.

Last time, it was another reunion tour with Paul Simon in 2010 (including a concert at Xcel Energy Center). This time, it's his 10 solo shows, including Oct. 27 at the Pantages Theatre in Minneapolis.

The Rock and Roll Hall of Famer has spent the past few weeks promoting his album, "The Singer," a career retrospective that includes two new tunes recorded this year. However, he discovered that his vocal cords are not at full strength; that's the same problem that doctors diagnosed in 2010..

"I had such hopes of being finally ready to perform. How painful to try and not be quite yet there," Garfunkel said in a statement.
