NEW BUSINESS Donaldson Co. Inc., Bloomington, has opened three new test labs in China, India and the United States.

Appliance Recycling Centers of America Inc., St. Louis Park, said it has been chosen by Illinois Municipal Electric Agency to provide turnkey appliance recycling services for subscribing municipals and member cooperatives in Illinois participating in the Recycle My Fridge Program, which began Aug. 1.

Community Reinvestment Fund USA (CRF), Minneapolis, a nonprofit that helps small businesses gain access to capital, has launched the Green Loan for Businesses, a pilot loan program for small businesses in Minnesota seeking to reduce energy costs and achieve sustainability goals. It targets owners who want to make energy-saving improvements to business facilities, letting them finance real estate and equipment upgrades or improvements. The program is for business owners who need $50,000 to $300,000 for green investments. CRF got a $500,000 grant from the U.S. Energy Department and the Minnesota Department of Commerce through the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009.

U.S. Bancorp, Minneapolis, has established the U.S. Bank Military Service Center, a dedicated customer service line for military members and their families that will be staffed with bankers familiar with the Servicemember's Civil Relief Act, as well as the unique financial circumstances faced by members of the military and their families. The Military Service Center can be reached at 800-934-9555 and will be open from 8 to 11 a.m. Mondays through Fridays Twin Cities time, with back-up support from U.S. Bank 24-hour banking during off hours. U.S. Bank has also designated (513) 277-5899 for customers who are overseas and need to call collect.

DEBT AND EQUITIES Tennant Co., Golden Valley, declared a regular quarterly cash dividend of 17 cents per share, payable Sept. 15 to shareholders of record on Aug. 3.

Entellus Medical Inc., Maple Grove, a medical device company that markets minimally invasive solutions to treat patients with chronic sinusitis, completed a $35 million round of fund raising. The new financing was led by Covidien Ventures, who joined investors SV Life Sciences, Essex Woodlands, Split Rock Partners, and Greenspring Associates. Proceeds will be used to fund ongoing operations and commercialization of its product lines.
