Chris Bosh has taken his name out of consideration for the London Olympics, becoming the second Miami Heat player in as many days to make the move over injury concerns.

Bosh announced the decision Friday through agent Henry Thomas. Bosh is still recovering after straining an abdominal muscle during the second round of the playoffs. He missed nine games, though did return for the latter part of the Eastern Conference finals against Boston and played in all five games of the NBA Finals against Oklahoma City.

Heat guard Dwyane Wade pulled out of the Olympics on Thursday because he needs knee surgery.

Blake upstages Bolt in 100 Yohan Blake blew away Usain Bolt and won the men's 100-meter final in 9.75 seconds, 0.11 ahead of the world-record holder at the Jamaican Olympic trials.

"Nine-point-seven-five, it's awesome," Blake said. "I won the world championship, so I've got that. Now, I'm the national champion for Jamaica, so I've got that. And now, I go into the Olympics like this."

Blake is the reigning world champion, but that victory came with an asterisk: Bolt didn't run that night in South Korea after being disqualified for a false start.

In the women's 100, reigning Olympic champion Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce won in a national-record 10.70, tying the seventh-fastest time ever. Runner-up Veronica Campbell-Brown clocked 10.82.

Pistorius, 25, finished second in 45.52 seconds in the final -- his last qualifying race -- but was outside the 45.30 he needed to run at an international event to meet his national federation's qualifying criteria for the Olympics.

Pistorius, who runs on carbon-fiber blades, could still make history as the first amputee track athlete at the Olympics if he's selected for South Africa's 4x400 relay team.

"I had a great early start to the season, setting the Olympic qualification time and I am hoping that there is still the opportunity for me to be selected to run for South Africa in the 4x400m relay," said Pistorius, who had made it his mission to compete at an Olympics and Paralympics in the same year.

Gymnast Sloan out of trials Bridget Sloan, the 2009 world champion, is out of the running for the Olympics after spraining her left elbow during warm-ups. Athletes aren't allowed to petition directly onto the Olympic team, so the injury effectively ends her chances. The team will be named Sunday.
