ST. LOUIS – The St. Louis Blues scored the final four goals to turn a one-goal lead into a 7-2 rout of the San Jose Sharks on Thursday night.

Alexander Steen, Jay Bouwmeester, Paul Stastny, Jori Lehtera, T.J. Oshie, Patrik Berglund and David Backes all scored for the Blues, who have now 20 goals in three games. Jaden Schwartz added three assists and Brian Elliott made 25 saves.

The Blues beat the Sharks 7-2 on Saturday in San Jose and then defeated the Coyotes 6-0 on Tuesday in Arizona. Thursday's game was the start of a seven-game home stand for St. Louis, which had played 16 of its previous 23 games on the road.

The Sharks, who rebounded from the loss to the Blues with road wins against the Jets on Monday and the Wild on Tuesday, got goals from Logan Couture and Melker Karlsson.

St. Louis struck first with a power-play goal from Steen, his 11th of the season and third in four games.

• NASHVILLE WINS IN OT: Shea Weber scored his second goal of the game 17 seconds into overtime, and the host Nashville Predators beat the Dallas Stars 3-2. The Predators also tied Anaheim for the most points in the NHL while improving to 16-2-1 at home. Miikka Salomaki scored in his NHL debut. Roman Josi had two assists. Jason Spezza and Trevor Daley each scored for Dallas.

• CLASS-ACTION SUIT HEARD IN ST. PAUL: The NHL's motion to dismiss a class-action lawsuit brought by former players over concussion-related injuries was heard in court Thursday in St. Paul, and the federal judge assigned to the case said she saw legal strength in the arguments from both sides. "I think it's a very close call, to be honest," U.S. District Judge Susan Richard Nelson said, near the end of the five-hour hearing. Nelson didn't make a ruling. She gave no timetable for her decision. The case is similar to that of the former NFL players who received at least $765 million through a tentative settlement to cover nearly 20,000 players over 65 years.

• CAPITALS' IRONMAN: Braden Holtby started a Washington goalie-record 17th consecutive game and played in his 23rd in a row overall in the Capitals' 3-2 loss at Philadelphia.

• OVECHKIN HEATING UP: Washington's Alex Ovechkin has a goal in five consecutive games. The last time he did that was in March 2013.
