House scored 20 points, including a go-ahead three late in the second half that sent the Aggies past No. 14 Iowa State 72-62 Saturday in the Big 12/SEC Challenge.
House had 12 points in the final four minutes.
"That was huge," A&M coach Billy Kennedy said. "He took over, and he was patient. He didn't force anything and made big shots."
The Aggies (18-3, 7-1 SEC) trailed 58-56 before House hit from beyond the arc with about four minutes left. On their next possession, the senior guard worked his way inside for a layup.
House's two free throws with 2:29 remaining made it 63-58. House later missed a short jumper, and freshman Tyler Davis tipped it in for a seven-point lead.
"That's a great team," House said of Iowa State.
Texas A&M rebounded from its lone setback in SEC play, as Arkansas pulled off a 74-71 upset in Fayetteville, Ark., on Wednesday night.
