Severe storms are expected to erupt over eastern New Mexico and West Texasby late today and into the night. A storm system shifting from the Rockies ontothe southern Plains will be the trigger for the storms.The storms will eye Clovis, N.M., and Lubbock, Texas, late today into theovernight. Dallas, Houston, Galveston, Shreveport, and Little Rock are in linefor dangerous storms on Sunday.
Threats with the storms will once again include tornadoes, damaging windsover 60 mph, and large hail. Heavy downpours could also cause local flashflooding.
