August 31, 2013 at 3:15AM

Burnsville police are asking the public's help to identify whoever shot and killed Abdifatah Ahmed Mahumod, 23, and wounded another man early Tuesday in the Andrew's Pointe townhouse complex in the 2100 block of E. 117th Street.

Investigators still don't have any information on a suspect or a motive for the shooting, said Sgt. Rory Bochniak.

"We're trying to find someone who saw something," he said. "It's just a matter of finding the right people, getting the right person to come forward."

The shooting happened shortly after 2 a.m. A woman drove the two victims to a gas station in Eagan, about a mile away. When police arrived, one man was dead. The other was taken to Regions Hospital in St. Paul. His name and condition have not been released.

Bochniak said anyone with information about the shooting is asked to call 952-895-4592.
