Authorities have identified a construction worker killed while working inside a Minnetonka water tower on Friday.

Albino Chavez Rubio, 50, of Grand Saline, Texas, died of traumatic asphyxia when his torso became pinned between a cable-hoisted bucket and an elevated walkway in the Woodland Hills Water Tower, in the 5600 block of Hathaway Lane, according to the Hennepin County Medical Examiner.

According to city officials, the Minnetonka Fire Department was called at 12:26 p.m. to the tower, which was undergoing routine service and rehabilitation.
