From Sechler Park in Northfield to Detroit Mountain in Detroit Lakes, new mountain bike trails have popped up all across Minnesota in the past year. The best of the new? It's a judgment call, but the new Mission Creek trail system in Duluth opened last year to rave reviews. A seven-mile route, with additional miles planned, this professional, machine-built trail swoops and dives over berms and dips, delivering the "flow" that bikers crave. Access: Chambers Grove Park, Fond du Lac neighborhood, Duluth. strib.mn/missioncreek
