Vice President Joe Biden will attend a fundraiser for U.S. Sen. Amy Klobuchar at noon Wednesday, the White House announced Tuesday evening.

Ticket prices for the event at the Hilton Hotel range from $10,000 for the VIP treatment to $125 for bronze seating. The most expensive ticket guarantees donors VIP seating, a photo with Biden and a mention in the event program.

A fundraising letter from Klobuchar's Minnesota Senate Victory Committee 2012 indicates that she will share fundraiser proceeds with the Minnesota DFL State Central Committee.

The White House statement did not reveal if Biden will attend any other events in Minnesota.

Klobuchar entered the year with more than $4.6 million at her disposal in the upcoming campaign.

Republican Pete Hegseth says he has raised $160,000 since he announced he was running for Klobuchar's Senate seat.

Two other Republican candidates, state Rep. Kurt Bills and former state Rep. Daniel "Doc" Severson, have not reported their recent fundraising totals. At the end of 2011, Severson's campaign had slightly more than $34,000 on hand, according to the Federal Election Commission.

Campaign finance reports for the period covering January through March are due to be released this weekend.
