Bounty scandal allows Brett Favre more chances to talk about the legend of Brett Favre
Good times.

Brett Favre is taking the high road when it comes to the $35,000 bounty the Saints allegedly placed on him during that ill-fated 2009 NFC title game.
We can't help but notice, however, that the high road is also strewn with billboards promoting the life and career of one Brett Lorenzo Favre. Let's check the record, word by word:
"People ask me about it at home, because everyone back home was Saints fans I grew up a Saints fan, an hour from the Superdome."
Not overly self-serving, but a personal anecdote to start.
My feeling, and I mean this wholeheartedly, is that I really don't care. What bothers me is we didn't win the game.
Perfect. And that's where you can stop.
"And they didn't take me out of the game. They came close, but a lot of people have come close. I'm too stubborn to come out."
Oh boy. We're getting a full-dose reminder that he played through the pain and almost willed his team to victory, aren't we?
"Plus, that was kind of a big game. I'm not going to sit the last three minutes. I'm going to go out there with bones sticking out of the skin, I'm going to finish it."
Turning the scandal back into the legend of his toughness. Brett Favre, ladies and gentlemen!
The Minnesota Frost are getting production from newcomers and their established vets, with notable improvement on special teams.
