The Gophers wrestling team has four sets of brothers on this year's roster and has a history of producing some of the most successful brother combos in the sport. The program has had eight sets of All-America brothers dating back to the 1970s:
Chart: All-America Brothers of Gophers wrestling
Dardanes: Chris (2012 and 2013) and Nick (2013) — three combined All-America awards.
Lamphere: Jeff (1972) and Reid (1969) — two combined All-America awards.
Lawrence: Brett (2001) and Jared (2000-03) — Jared was 2002 NCAA champion at 149 pounds.
Morgan: Marty (1989-91) and Gordy (1989) — Marty was 1991 NCAA champion at 177 pounds.
Ness: Jayson (2007-10) and Dylan (2012-14) — Jayson was 2010 NCAA champion at 133 pounds; Dylan was 2012 and 2014 runner-up at 149 and 157.
Schlatter: Dustin (2006-08) and C.P. (2007) — Dustin was 2006 NCAA champion at 149 pounds.
Thorn: Mike (2010-11) and David (2013-14) — four combined All-America awards.
Zilverberg: Dan (1979-80) and Larry (1974-76) — Larry was 1974 NCAA runner-up at 158 pounds.
