Food trucks are popping up faster than CVS/pharmacy outlets. Track their locations on Twitter.

Dan Docken's kitchen on wheels says it all: Tot Boss, specializing in bacon-wrapped Tater Tots, Tater Tot nachos, Tater Tot hot dish, chili-covered Tater Tots and more. Gluten-free diners, take note: Much of the menu is tailor-made for you.

The bright green truck acts as a visual calling card for Sayo Foods, which specializes in fresh-from-the-Philippines street fare ("sayo" is Filipino for "yours"), including chicken egg rolls, noodles with shrimp and tofu and a refreshingly fizzy lemon-cucumber cooler.

Bacon- and chive-stuffed deviled eggs? A wild rice-black bean salad? Slow-braised pork with a perky ginger-garlic slaw? It's all on the menu at the locavore-minded Sassy Spoon. If you're lucky, they'll be serving organic Sweet Science Ice Cream (roasted banana! strawberry buttermilk!) for dessert.
