Billy and Elton aren't the only famous rock 'n' roll duo headed to Xcel Energy Center this year: Eric Clapton and Steve Winwood, bandmates in the short-lived rock band Blind Faith, will perform together at the St. Paul arena on June 18 as part of a 14-city tour.

After a rave reception at the 2007 Crossroads Guitar Festival (captured on DVD), Clapton and Winwood reunited for three sold-out shows last winter at Madison Square Garden. This year marks the 40th anniversary of Blind Faith's lone studio album, which produced the hit "Can't Find My Way Home." Other Blind Faith songs rounded out their MSG set lists along with a few Clapton favorites, such as "Cocaine" and "After Midnight," plus Winwood's Traffic standard "Please Mr. Fantasy."

Ticket info has not yet been released. Look for a full announcement within a few weeks.
