Behind a strong running game and a stifling defense, Caledonia defeated Triton 28-7 on Friday in the Class 2A Prep Bowl, delivering the third state title in four years for the Warriors.
Connor McCormick led all rushers with 153 yards and a pair of touchdowns for Caledonia, which outgained Triton 373-152.
"I credit all the guys in front of me," McCormick said. "I was just doing the same things I always do."
The Minnesota National Guard has transformed what was a weekend deluge of bow hunters into a daily trickle.
