ROMANTIC TORMENTS
Thursday-Saturday: With Hector Berlioz, there often is more drama in his orchestral works than in his operas. Such is the case with his "Symphonie Fantastique," performed this week by the Minnesota Orchestra. Subtitled "Episode in the Life of an Artist," Berlioz claimed this programmatic symphony was autobiographical, but it's more accurately an intense description of the obsessive torments of the Romantic soul. Argentine pianist Ingrid Fliter is also featured in the Mozart Piano Concerto No. 23. (7:30 p.m. Thu., 8 p.m. Fri.-Sat. $26-$84.
