The man died at the scene. His passenger, Samantha Ann Mcculloch, 30, of Clear Lake, suffered life-threatening injuries and was taken to St. Cloud Hospital, the patrol said.

The driver of the Suzuki, Abdikahin Osman Abdi, 30, of St. Cloud, was taken to the hospital with noncritical injuries.

All involved were wearing seat belts, and alcohol was not a factor, the patrol said.
