NEW PRODUCTS Boston Scientific Corp., Natick, Mass., has CE Mark in Europe and Food and Drug Administration approval in the United States of its NC Quantum Apex PTCA Dilatation Balloon Catheter. The company plans to launch the product in European markets this week and in the U.S. next month. This balloon catheter was developed to address physicians' needs in optimizing coronary stent deployment.

NEW BUSINESS Indigo Identityware, Chanhassen, a provider of Behavioral Enterprise Single Sign-on (ESSO) with Integrated Strong Authentication software, recently partnered with Envoy Data Corp., Gilbert, Ariz., to market and deploy its line of ESSO software.

Lawson Software Inc., St. Paul, said that Carlsbad, Calif., signed a contract to implement Lawson enterprise applications to help improve its human resources operations.

Best Buy Co. Inc., Richfield, has voluntarily partnered with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's Responsible Appliance Disposal (RAD) Program to promote environmentally responsible disposal of household appliances.

PERFORMANCE Working Mother magazine named General Mills Inc., Golden Valley, as one of the 2010 Best Companies for Multicultural Women for the seventh consecutive year. General Mills ranks among the top five companies on this year's list.
