Light-rail service in downtown Minneapolis was shut down briefly Tuesday morning after a train and a car collided at the intersection of 5th Street and 5th Avenue S., Metro Transit confirmed.

No injuries were reported in the crash, which occurred about 8:20 a.m., said spokesman Howie Padilla.
The wreck blocked both tracks for about 20 minutes. Blue Line and Green Line trains coming into downtown were stopped at the U.S. Bank Stadium Station.
Once the vehicle was removed from the tracks, trains resumed regular service, Metro Transit said.
