Happy hour at Salut Bar Americain (5032 France Av. S., Edina, 612-929-3764, www.salutbaramericain.com) is full of deals. Three dollars buys a pair of sliders with fries, deviled eggs or herb-crusted goat cheese with crostini, and for $5, happy hour diners can choose from a smoked salmon rillette, a mini croque madame or banh mi-style pork loin sliders. Served 3 to 6 p.m. weekdays.
