Food

The motto at Q. Cumbers (7465 France Av. S., Edina, 952-831-0235, www.qcumbers.com) is "where vegetables are good," which means parents can feel good about taking the family out to dinner. An added incentive is on Mondays after 4 p.m., when kids (ages 3 to 12) can feast their way across the crowd-pleasing buffet, which includes a 50-foot salad bar, a ton of hot entrees (baked chicken, build-your-own fajitas, pastas) and homey desserts and the cost is just 99 cents per kid (up to two children) when an adult buys dinner.
