If there is any day to get moving, it might be Wednesday: National Running Day.
"I think National Running Day is an extension of what we do. Twin Cities in Motion wants the Twin Cities moving, whether directly at our events or out in the community," said Virginia Brophy Achman, executive director of Twin Cities in Motion. "TCM was part of the founding group that created this day across the country because we all have that goal of getting the United States moving, running and walking, and just being active."
TCM is encouraging running of any kind Wednesday and sharing it on social media (#NationalRunningDay).
