Keegan Lund, left, an invasive species specialist for the DNR, helped Emil Kucera of Roseville remove his dock from Lake Josephine on Wednesday. Keegan then showed how to check docks and other equipment headed to winter storage for invasive species such as zebra mussels and Eurasian watermilfoil. Owners need to be especially careful about inspecting equipment before they or anyone they hire moves it, over concerns that might help spread the aquatic invaders to uninfected bodies of water.
