Doctor Oscar's time in the Victor S. Myers Stakes was a stakes record for 6 furlongs and the $3.3M total handle was the fourth largest at Canterbury Park.
Chad Lindsay rode the winner for Pete Mattson of Prior Lake. Mattson owns and bred the 3-year-old son of Shackleford. Doctor Oscar, trained by David Van Winkle, has now won four of six lifetime starts.

Brewhouse, ridden by Nik Goodwin, won the $60,000 Frances Genter Stakes racing gate to wire. The betting favorite was not challenged until deep stretch when She's My Warrior, who had chased in second throughout, made a final move but came up a neck short. The 3-year-old filly, owned by Vicki McGowan and John Mentz, has won twice in two career starts. She paid $6.00 to win. Brewhouse is trained by Mac Robertson.
The $50,000 Ralph Strangis Stakes went to Zoe's Delight by disqualification as a result of front running Thealligatorhunter interfering with eventual third-place finisher Hot Shot Kid inside the eighth pole.
Zoe's Delight finished second but was moved to first as a result of the stewards' decision to move Thealligatorhunter from first to third behind Hot Shot Kid. Zoe's Delight is owned and was bred by Winchester Place Thoroughbreds LLC and is trained by Tony Rengstorf. The winner paid $12.60.
Midnight Current and jockey Harry Hernandez won the $50,000 Minnesota Turf Distaff for owner Lothenbach Stables, Inc. The 4-year-old filly paid $4.40 as the betting favorite and is trained by leading trainer Joel Berndt.
The track handle was $269,358, the total handle $3,299,658 — the fourth-largest in Canterbury's history.

Defending champion and four-time winner J.T. Johnson shared the first-round in the MPGA Senior Public Links Championship at Oak Marsh Golf Course in Oakdale. Johnson of New Richmond Golf Course shot a 1-under 69 as did Stuart Finley of Bunker Hills Golf Club.
