DOG OF THE WEEK

Irish setter-golden retriever mix

Kulta, an Irish setter-golden retriever mix, was Dave Jungst's hunting companion for 14 years before passing away.

"She hunted with me every year from a puppy to her last season and never really slowed down," he said.

"She had incredible endurance, she could hunt all day."

Added Jungst, who lives in Morris, Minn.: "She would not give up on the scent until it led her to the bird, and she would usually flush it, but occasionally she would lock up on point. She had looks, fantastic hunting ability and was a real family dog."

Upload photos of your hunting dog at startribune.com/outdoors for possible inclusion in this spot on Wednesdays.

FILE -- A rent deposit slot at an apartment complex in Tucker, Ga., on July 21, 2020. As an eviction crisis has seemed increasingly likely this summer, everyone in the housing market has made the same plea to Washington: Send money — lots of it — that would keep renters in their homes and landlords afloat.
