Dontevius Ahmad Catchings of Minneapolis was identified as the person who was fatally shot outside Shiloh Temple on Friday afternoon, according to a news release from the Hennepin County Medical Examiner's Office.

Catchings, 29, was shot just after the funeral for Christopher Robert Jones Jr., 24, of Brooklyn Park — one of two men killed outside the Monarch nightclub in downtown Minneapolis on May 22.

A second man, who has not been identified, also was shot outside Shiloh Temple on Friday afternoon, but his injuries were not life-threatening.

Officials have yet to identify and apprehend a suspect in the case. It's not known why the shooter targeted Catchings and the second person.

Catchings' family members could not be immediately reached for comment.
