An area of low pressure moving across the West will cause unsettled weatherfrom northern California northward into Washington and Idaho. Rain andthunderstorms are expected from Montana into North Dakota.Hot and humid weather will persist from the Plains into the Southeast.

Widespread high temperatures in the 90s are expected along with a few locationsreaching 100 degrees. Also, high dew points will make it feel even warmer thanthe actual high temperatures.

A weak disturbance will lead to some showers and isolated thunderstorms acrossNew England. Daytime heating will lead to the development of isolated showersand thunderstorms from eastern Texas into northern Florida.

The threat will also exist for a couple of showers and thunderstorms acrossparts of the Midwest and Ohio Valley, but no widespread rainfall is expected inthese areas.
