The scene at the first tee is Sunday's first big party. The big drama will come later, at holes 13 and 16 again most likely, but the early action is around No. 1.

The scene at the first tee is Sunday's first big party. The big drama will come later, at 13 and 16 again most likely, but the early action is around No. 1.

The players are taking notice on their walks to the tee. Patrick Reed had a few fist pumps for the big crowd -- something we've gotten used to seeing from Reed this weekend.

Justin Rose gave the scene a look on his walk to 1 and let out a giant exhale.

Phil Mickelson seemed to look the other way on his walk past the scene, perhaps trying to calm himself 45 minutes before his tee time.

Jordan Spieth slowed his walk on the bridge that overlooks 1 and took an extra moment or two to take in the view.

The players on the walk-bridge can't help but notice the crowd, probably upwards of 10,000 people surrounding the tee in the grandstand and 15- or 20-people deep crowds.
